The Aspen Tree

The aspen tree is remarkably similar to our approach to healing. In the beginning phases of treatment, we focus on “clearing the area” and stabilizing the individual. As our clients transition through treatment, roots start to emerge. The individual starts to uncover the underlying issues that contribute to their substance use such as trauma, depression, anxiety, and other mental health-related issues. Clients are then empowered to integrate their knowledge and skills to grow into a life of recovery.

Like a colony of aspen trees, our clients never stand alone. We provide a safe, life-long community for individuals and their family members to stay connected through sober social events like intramural sports, holiday parties, barbeques, educational webinars, and more.

Our Roots

Knowing and doing what’s right.  

We help people find the best treatment program for them, even if it’s not ours!  We have clinicians that are dually licensed to treat mental health and addiction, and often hold additional certifications for trauma treatment. We use evidence-based therapies (like CBT & DBT) along with holistic therapies to support social, emotional, physical and spiritual wellness. We are accredited with The Joint Commission and the National Association of Treatment Providers and providing quality care is a top priority. 

We aspire, we fail, we try again.

We embrace that healing is not linear, and change isn’t possible without setbacks. Getting up after failure is a courageous, vulnerable, and necessary action to achieve goals and sustain change. We help our clients leave shame at the door and build the tools they need to live a life of long-term recovery while acknowledging every success and lesson learned along the way.

In active addiction, it’s easy to ignore our inner voice and intuition. Through individual, group and family therapy, we help clients rewire their brain, tap back into their intuition and rediscover their voice. By partnering with our clients, we empower them to take ownership of their quality of life.

Addiction doesn’t just impact one person. It impacts the close relationships with that person. We help individuals and their loved ones repair relationships, set boundaries, improve communication, and more. From the first phone call and beyond treatment, our program creates life-long recovery support for the individual and their loved ones.

Getting sober does not have to mean all work and no fun. We help people realize recovery can be rewarding. Newfound sobriety means more time to try new things and find new passions. We help clients explore hobbies like rock climbing, intramural sports, creative writing, meditating, and more. Clients find genuine joy by creating a new sober community, repairing meaningful relationships and family dynamics, and building a life they don’t want to escape from.

Substance Abuse Treatment Programs

Our center offers substance abuse treatment programs for adults with Medicaid. Our programs address active addiction and underlying causes such as trauma, depression, and anxiety disorders. We understand that substance misuse is a symptom and long-term recovery is possible when the core issues are resolved.

Mental Health Treatment Programs

In addition to substance abuse treatment, we also offer mental health treatment programs for adults with Medicaid. Our highly trained therapists work to identify the root causes of addiction, helping individuals lead a clean, sober, and flourishing life.

Medicaid Coverage

We accept Medicaid as a form of payment for our treatment programs. However, quality addiction treatment should be available to everyone, regardless of their financial situation.
